Another iconic genre is the tumba, celebrated during the annual Tumba Festival. During this four-day event, artists compete for the coveted title of Rei or Reina di Tumba (Tumba King or Queen). The winning song will be the unofficial soundtrack of Carnival and will be heard throughout the festivities.
